Abhishek Subbaiah after completing his B.A. LL.B. from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore in 2013, began his career with ICICI Bank as Legal Counsel, honing his expertise in banking and financial regulations.

He predominantly focuses on technology and finance-related mandates and is often called upon to address matters that involve novel or complex legal issues.

Subbaiah has served at premier law firms—J. Sagar Associates, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and Khaitan & Co.—as well as secondment stints at Cisco and Jio.

He has advised on, among others:

• Technology services agreements and IP licensing.
• Telecom regulatory and licensing issues.
• Banking and finance mandates.
• Multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions.

Subbaiah completed the Advanced Programme in FinTech and Financial Blockchain (APFFB) from IIM Calcutta in 2021 and currently leads teams advising on sophisticated technology and finance mandates.
